Bedfordshire Association of Architects Awards Winners
On Friday 29th September Carrstone house, won the Sustainability award at the Bedfordshire Association of Architects Design and Craftsmanship Awards. Recognised for it multiple sustainable elements and good design the house was designed by Milton Keynes based architects and Passivhaus designers Eco Design Consultants. The second project entered into the awards by Eco Design Consultants, Pavenham, received a commendation in both the sustainability and extensive refurbishment categories.
The aim of the Design and Craftsmanship Awards is to recognise high quality design and craftsmanship within Bedfordshire, judges consider not just the appeal of an individual buildings but also their effect on the street scene. Individual elements of each project is considered with awards this year also being issued for joinery, brickwork and render.

Having our work recognised by other architects is a great compliment. We set up the company back in 2008 with the desire to combine great Architecture with sustainability and it’s great to get recognition for something we enjoy doing and are passionate about.
