SEE What You Are Buying Into is a labelling scheme and a social movement. It identifies businesses that are publicly accountable on a range of important Social, Environmental and Ethical (SEE) issues. It also empowers the individual by enabling anyone to drive up levels of openness and honesty in business.
We are SEE listed because we believe that – as well as making customers happy – businesses should do everything they can to make the world a better place. Further, too many businesses make claims of being responsible, sustainable and ‘part of the solution’ without providing any credible proof to back them up.
To show that we are the real deal we have gone through a rigorous evaluation process, answered a questionnaire created by some of the world’s leading NGOs and campaigning groups, guaranteed our answers as complete, accurate and verifiable, and had them published on www.SEEWhatYouAreBuyingInto.com. We have set out what we do and how we do it in detail. Our information is available for public scrutiny, comment and rating.
