Eco Design Consultants is an award-winning chartered architect practice specialising in low‑energy, Passivhaus and environmentally responsible design. Since 2008, we’ve been creating buildings that are beautiful, practical and genuinely sustainable — places that support the people who use them and respect the world they sit within.
We believe great architecture should do more than minimise harm. It should actively improve how people live, work and feel, while responding intelligently to the climate challenges we face. Our work spans new build and retrofit projects for homeowners, communities, charaties and public bodies, combining design excellence with deep environmental expertise.
As a practice, we aim to live by the principles we design to — sharing knowledge, continuously improving, and working in ways that are environmentally, socially and economically responsible. This approach shapes not only our projects, but our team culture: collaborative, curious and committed to doing meaningful work well.

Eco Design Consultants are a friendly, award winning, RIBA Chartered architectural practice specialising in environmental design. Our vision is to champion great architecture that creates exceptional, fun places to live, work and play without detriment to others or the planet.
We are located within the Milton Keynes Art Centre, a pleasant leafy park with excellent public transport links and ample free parking. We are just 8 minutes from central Milton Keynes and 40 minutes from London Euston.
Our work focuses on residential using Passivhaus/EnerPHit and AECB principles embracing new concepts and technologies from a sustainable standpoint to ensure that our clients achieve their dreams. There is more details of our work on the portfolio pages
