Tyrells End Farm

Within the curtilage of a listed building this derelict barn has been repurposed into additional living space for the family home. The resulting annex will be clad in timber and rendered with a plain tile roof to complement the house and adjacent barn.

Designed following Passivhaus principles in order to reduce long-term energy consumption this will provide a comfortable draught free escape from the farmhouse. Due to its size and shape, this project did not pursue Passivhaus certification.
